The development of increasingly fast technology prosecuted each country to be able to develop his economics with the basis of technology. The wider range, the better communication, the more added values, and the improved productivity happen to be the positive impact obtained by a country with the development of technology. Moreover the globalization also prosecuted a country to always increase his country’s competitiveness globally. That gave the pressure for a country to improve the quality of its human resources through the higher education and the better access on wide range knowledge.

However, Indonesia still could not respond quickly to this demand. The vague objectives of development of technology will result in low competitiveness on the development of its economics. If Indonesia pays no attention to this issue, the country will increasingly sink compare to other countries that gave high attention to the progress of their knowledge and technology. As a result, Indonesian competitiveness will increasingly worsen and the trust of global community will lessen.

Therefore, this paper will present some recommendations that could be carried out to boost the development of the economics with technological basis.  Some methods to find funding in this development will also be explained in this report.
